1 Overview
The float level transmitter is a classic liquid level measuring instrument in the production process control of the refining industry, which is composed of a measuring part and a signal transmission part. The measuring part can be divided into small angle type (01), large angle type (02) and outer floating ball type (03) according to the structural characteristics. The measurement part and the signal transmission part transmit the rotation angle information through the magnetic field, and each electronic chamber is completely isolated, which is safe and reliable. Can be widely used in viscous, dirty, flammable and explosive and corrosive media and other types of media level measurement and level signal transmission.
2 Working principle
The measuring part of the float level transmitter consists of a torque balance mechanism composed of a float and a counterweight, so the float can freely rise and fall with the change of the liquid level. When the liquid level changes, the position of the floating ball changes accordingly, the spindle and the coupling are driven by the club to rotate, and the change of the liquid level is converted into the corresponding electrical signal through the magnetic parts and the measuring circuit on the meter. And it is converted to a standard current signal proportional to the change of the liquid level.

Simple structure, easy installation, especially suitable for long club small range working condition environment. Floating ball running angle ≤ 35 °. When the running angle ≥ 8 °, 4 ~ 20mA can be adjusted.

In view of the problem that the effective diameter of the container can not increase the rod length to improve the range, the company can produce 02 large angle float level transmitter, the maximum angle of up to 80 degrees.
★Note:
1. Maximum club length: not more than 1130mm
This parameter is to remind users with large inner diameter of the container to note that the maximum rod length of this type of transmitter does not exceed 1130mm. It is not allowed to increase the rod length arbitrarily to increase the measuring range.
2. Minimum inner diameter of container: not less than 400mm
This parameter refers to the shortest limit size of the transmitter club. The reason why the inner diameter of the container is specified is to more intuitively remind the user of the small inner diameter of the container.

▼ Structural features
The measurement and transmission parts of the outer floating ball 03 are exactly the same as those of the 01 ordinary type. The difference is that an outer measuring chamber is added to connect with the container of the measured medium, and the measured medium is led to the outer measuring chamber to measure its liquid level. This brings convenience to the situation that it is inconvenient to directly measure the liquid level of the medium in the container.

5 Range and rod length comparison table

VI. Equipment takeover requirements
The transmitter is directly installed on the flange of the side wall interface of the measured medium container through the flange.
