The double-chamber balance vessel is a common measuring device for measuring the water level of boiler drum, which can be easily measured by differential pressure transmitter. However, due to the lack of understanding of its internal structure, the dual-chamber balance container is difficult to maintain. Today we briefly introduce the internal structure and working principle of the two-chamber balance container.
The double-chamber balance container consists of an inner chamber and an outer chamber. The outer chamber of the balancer is connected with the steam of the drum and filled with condensed water; the inner chamber is connected with the water of the boiler drum through the pressure conduit under the balancer, and the principle of the connection device is used, so the water level of the inner chamber changes with the water level of the drum. The double-layer container of this structure ensures that the water temperatures of the outer cavity and the inner cavity are basically equal, thereby reducing the measurement error caused by the different temperatures.
When installing the differential pressure transmitter, it involves the installation of the positive pressure side and the negative pressure side. When the negative migration differential pressure transmitter measures the drum water level, the high pressure side (H) of the differential pressure transmitter is connected with the inner chamber of the double-chamber balance vessel, and the low pressure side (L) is connected with the outer chamber of the double-chamber balance vessel; when the positive migration differential pressure transmitter measures the drum water level, the high pressure side (H) of the differential pressure transmitter is connected with the outer chamber of the double-chamber balance vessel, the low pressure side (L) of the differential pressure transmitter is connected to the inner chamber of the dual chamber balance vessel. As for whether the gas phase pipe of the balance vessel should be connected to the high pressure chamber (H) or the low pressure chamber (L) of the differential pressure transmitter, this is essentially a matter of habit, and the habits of electricity and chemical industry are different. The power industry is accustomed to connecting gas-phase pipes to the high-pressure chamber of the transmitter, while the chemical industry is accustomed to connecting gas-phase pipes to the low-pressure chamber of the transmitter. In this way, the principle of the two methods to measure the drum water level is the same, and the starting point is the same. Only the treatment method of boiler drum water level is different, the difference is that one uses positive migration and the other uses negative migration.
