Balance vessel is divided into single chamber balance vessel and double chamber balance vessel. The double chamber equalizing vessel has an annular funnel structure above the reference cup, dividing the whole equalizing vessel into two parts.
Balance vessel working principle: 1, condensation chamber. Ideally, the saturated steam from the steam drum will release the latent heat of vaporization here to form saturated condensate water and supply the reference cup. 2, the benchmark cup. Collect the condensed water from the condensation chamber and output the pressure generated by the condensed water to the positive pressure side of the differential pressure transmitter. The volume of the reference cup is limited, and the condensed water overflows the reference cup and flows to the overflow chamber when it is full. Because the height of the cup mouth of the reference cup is fixed, it is called the reference cup. 3. Overflow chamber. The overflow chamber occupies most of the space of the container, and its main function is to collect the condensed water overflowing from the reference cup and discharge the condensed water into the downcomer of the boiler. The entire container is heated and stored during the flow to ensure that the temperature in the container and the barrel is consistent. 4. Connectors. One end of the horizontal part of the inverted "T" joint is connected to the drum, and the other end is connected to the negative pressure side of the transmitter. There is no doubt that its main function is to transfer the pressure generated by the dynamic water level in the drum to the negative pressure side of the transmitter and compare it with the (reference) pressure on the positive pressure side to know the water level in the drum.
It can be seen from its working principle that the output pressure on the positive pressure side of the balance container is equal to the total static pressure above the liquid level of the reference cup plus the condensation pressure between the reference cup and the horizontal axis of the water side inlet. Side negative pressure is equal to the total static pressure above the horizontal level of the reference cup mouth, plus the pressure generated from the water level of the reference cup mouth to the saturated steam at the steam-water interface in the drum, plus the pressure generated from the saturated water at the steam-water interface in the drum to the horizontal axis of the water side inlet pipe. The steam in the drum is used for heating, so that the density of the water in the reference cup corresponds in any case to the density of the saturated water at the drum pressure, independent of the ambient temperature. Thus, the pressure difference between the positive pressure side and the negative pressure side correctly reflects the water level of the steam drum. The double-chamber balance container has the ability of automatic compensation, which is mainly reflected in that when the drum water level is close to zero water level, the output pressure difference is less affected by the pressure change, and the impact on the drum water level measurement is small.
